Building and Grounds Committee
This committee is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Church building and grounds by overseeing the maintenance budget of the church and responding to major maintenance needs.

Christian Education Committee
: It shall be the aim of this committee to promote and build an educational program that will encompass the wholes church and to provide a well-rounded program of Christian Education for all its members. 

The Book of Order carefully defines the responsibility of the Deacons. Section G-6.0400 is quoted here:
“The office of Deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Persons of spiritual character, honest repute, of exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, warm sympathies, and sound judgment should be chosen for this office.
It is the duty of Deacons, first of all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress. They shall assume such other duties as may be delegated to them from time to time by the Session.”

Mission Coordinator
Objective: Coordinate and report to the congregation the many mission activities of the church. Mission activity information is provided on the narthex bulletin board, in “Minute of Mission” and announcements in our worship services, weekly bulletins, and monthly newsletter. Committee members are elected by the congregation.

Nominating Committee
Objective:  With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Nominating Committee strives to match the gifts of members willing to serve God and the church in filling open positions of the various boards and committees annually and as they occur throughout the year as directed by the Book of Order, section G-14.0223 thru G-14.0226.  “The right people to fill the right positions.”

Outreach/Fellowship Committee
Objective:  The Outreach/Fellowship committee increases the presence of the church in our community, raises awareness of the services we offer, responds to the needs of our community and provides opportunities and activities for members of the congregation to enjoy one another, become personally acquainted and celebrate together as a church family.

Personnel Committee
Objective:  The Personnel Committee shall provide a support system for the pastor, session, staff and congregation.   The Committee will also facilitate communication between the pastor, staff and congregation; and encourage the pastor and staff, both paid and volunteer, in order to enhance their work experience.

Stewardship and Finance Committee
:  The stewardship portion of the committee will communicate the opportunity and responsibility that all of God’s people have to be good stewards of all of God’s good gifts particularly including our time, talent, ability and money.   The finance portion of the committee shall be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of the financial condition of the congregation with careful attention to cash flow. The committee will also create and recommend to the Session the annual budget.

Worship Committee
:  It shall be the goal of this commission to provide rich, reverent, and relevant worship services for the members of the congregation.
